WE ARE
Interpreting Training and Consulting Services, LLC was established by Maggie Patterson and Betty Kyle on February 2nd 2013. They met up for lunch to discuss the needs of both interpreters and Deaf people in the Deep East Texas region They talked over how so many businesses and agencies in the region do not know how to provide communication access for their Deaf clients, how difficult it was to find workshops within a reasonable distance, and how hard it was for agencies to find qualified interpreters when they were needed. From this meeting Interpreting Training and Consulting Services, LLC was born. Our mission is three fold: Provide quality interpreting for our clientele, provide quality training for interpreters and provide current and accurate information on communication access for businesses and agencies in the Deaf East Texas region.
Interpreting Training and Consulting Services, LLC (ITCS) – Mission Statement
At ITCS, our mission is to bridge the communication gap between Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing individuals through high-quality interpreting, training, and consulting services.
We are committed to:

2 Empowering interpreters through mentorship, workshops, and personalized skill development to achieve and maintain certification.

4 Promoting integrity, compassion, and respect in all interactions to strengthen trust within the communities we serve.

Margaret (Maggie) H. Patterson
Maggie Patterson serves as the CEO|COO, Managing Partner of Interpreting Training & Consulting Services, LLC, with over two decades of experience in education and interpreting. Passionate about supporting both the Deaf and interpreting communities, she is dedicated to developing skilled, certified interpreters and ensuring quality communication access across East Texas. Known for her leadership, mentorship, and heart for service, Maggie continues to build bridges through advocacy, education, and collaboration. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, her animals, and quiet moments at the cabin

Betty Kyle
With over 30 years of experience in interpreting and program coordination, Betty Kyle serves as the CSO|CIO, Managing Partner for Interpreting Training & Consulting Services, LLC. Her strong leadership and organizational skills help ensure seamless coordination of interpreters across East Texas. Passionate about accessibility, ethics and professional development, Betty is dedicated to supporting both interpreters and the Deaf community through advocacy, mentorship, and quality service delivery. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, traveling, and serving her community.

Cyndi Chamberlain
With over 40 years of interpreting experience, Cyndi Chamberlain, a proud CODA, has dedicated her life to bridging communication between Deaf and hearing communities. As Director of Languages, she mentors interpreters toward certification and advocates for accessibility across East Texas. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her nine grandchildren.
