Hello
Cyndi Chamberlain –
Director of Languages
Cyndi Chamberlain has been an interpreter for over 40 years, bringing a lifetime of experience and dedication to her role as Director of Languages. As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), Cyndi was interpreting long before the profession was formally recognized, and her deep roots in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community continue to shape her passion for service.
In addition to her interpreting career, Cyndi is a wife, grandmother of nine, caregiver, and proud owner of a beloved fur baby. She brings warmth, compassion, and balance to every part of her life. As Director, her goal is to support local interpreters in achieving certification through mentoring and professional guidance. She is equally committed to working with local businesses, advocating for accessibility, and educating them about the needs of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community to help bridge communication gaps.
In her spare time, Cyndi enjoys traveling, swimming, hiking, and—most importantly—spending quality time with her family. Her personal and professional journey reflects a lifelong commitment to bridging cultures, empowering interpreters, and ensuring that communication access is available to all.
